Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Provide information to callers and visitors about the organization
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for staff members
- Transcribe and type documents, memos, and correspondence
- Assist with event planning and coordination
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, distributing, and filing
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and faxing
- Proofread documents for errors in spelling, grammar, punctuation, and format
Experience:
- Previous experience in a Customer Service role is preferred
- Familiarity with medical office procedures is a plus
- Proficiency in transcribing and typing accurately at a reasonable speed
- Knowledge of event planning principles and practices is beneficial
- Proficient in using Google Suite applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed
