Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities:

• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly Customer Service via in-person, phone, email, and text interactions. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.

• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.

• Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.

• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.

• Respond to requests for certificates of insurance from mortgage lenders and commercial clients.

• Respond to Underwriting requests for information on new and existing policies

• Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day.

• Maintain customer records and update information as needed.

• Resolve customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction and agency growth.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a Customer Service role preferred.
• Ability to Alaska Resident Producer Licenses in Property & Casualty and Life & Health.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
