Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly Customer Service via in-person, phone, email, and text interactions. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
- Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
- Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
- Respond to requests for certificates of insurance from mortgage lenders and commercial clients.
- Respond to Underwriting requests for information on new and existing policies
- Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day.
- Maintain customer records and update information as needed.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction and agency growth.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Customer Service role preferred.
- Ability to Alaska Resident Producer Licenses in Property & Casualty and Life & Health.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
