Job Summary
New Jersey leading brand of the home improvement services and a full Provider for Home Depot. We have been serving clients in all New Jersey with North, Central and South remote locations with all their home improvement needs for over 34 years. Our company is searching for a responsible Office Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. We are looking for an individual who is efficient and comfortable being a member of a position. The ideal candidate for this job is outgoing, a good problem solver and organized. Assuring a steady completion of workload in a timely manner is key to success in this position.
Office Assistant Responsibilities
· Maintain contact lists
· Generate a large number of calls to perspective customers
· Answer and direct phone calls
· Organize and schedule appointments
· Document and update customer records based on interactions
· Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
· Respond to questions and requests for information
· Provide general support to visitors
· Assume responsibility for maintenance of office equipment, including computers and copy machines
· Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services
Office Assistant Skills and Qualifications
· Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
· Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
· Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
· High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus
