Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Job Description
Gurtler Industries, Inc is hiring a Customer Service Representative that will have a high degree of communication with the sales, production, purchasing, dispatching and transportation teams. The representative will assist customers and sales representatives with orders, complaints, questions, order changes and/or cancelations. They will provide a high level of Customer Service in a professional and productive manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Enter orders in the system as submitted by customers and the sales representatives.
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails.
- Assist customers and sales representatives with placing, changing or canceling orders.
- Provide accurate and complete information to the customer and sales representatives.
- Maintain customer records by updating account information in the system.
- Assist sales on any customer or operational complaints.
- Process customer product returns in a timely manner and in accordance with prescribed and documented procedures.
- Coordinate deliveries, interacting with transportation and dispatching departments.
- Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
- Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Ability to read, write and speak the English language.
- Proven customer support experience.
- Strong phone contact handling and active listening skills.

- Ability to multi-task and prioritize, work independently, and manage time effectively.
- Ability to stay pleasant and focused in a fast paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
Physical Demands
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to type and lift small lightweight objects.
Qualifications
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize, work independently, and manage time effectively.
- Minimum 3 years Customer Service-related experience.
- Proficient with Word, Excel and Outlook.
