###Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Hospice Aide with a valid CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license to join our team. The Hospice Aide will play a vital role in providing care and support to terminally ill patients within their homes or in a facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate compassion, professionalism, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care to patients and their families.

###Responsibilities:

- Provide personal care and assistance to patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.

- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure their comfort and safety.

- Report changes in patient condition to the nursing staff or hospice supervisor.

- Administer medication reminders and assist with medication administration under the direction of a licensed nurse.

- Maintain a clean and organized environment for patients, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.

###Requirements:

- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Arizona.

- Previous experience in hospice care or a related healthcare setting preferred.

- Compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to provide comfort and support to patients and their families.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.

- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license required.

- Availability for office hours 1-2 days per week.

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
