GENERAL PURPOSE:
Primary interface to all customers for order entry, acknowledgement and fulfillment. Tasked with building sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication. Unique secondary role as digital marketing support specialist.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
· Receive purchase orders from customers and confirm accuracy before entering order into SAP ERP system
· Obtain freight rates for quoting
· Coordinate with warehouse, QC lab, and production to ensure products are delivered on spec and on time
· Ensure compliance with all U.S. export regulations
· Communicate with customer about order status and troubleshoot any issues
· Foster communication with customers to obtain market information, identify potential gaps in service, and help anticipate future customer needs
· Act as a liaison to the customer, providing product information and resolve any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency
· Support accounts receivable on past due accounts
· Handle sample requests from sales team including shipment of non-hazardous material
· Update customer data in Sugar CRM
· Receive and distribute web inquiries
· Support marketing team with content creation (podcast, web content, social media accounts)
· Analyze platform metrics and prepare monthly reports
· Complete ad-hoc projects to support marketing team
STRATEGIC FOCUS:
Serving as the only CSR on the Sales & Marketing team, this position must provide a superior customer experience by anticipating and quickly resolving any potential issues, advocating for the needs of the customer internally, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
As the customer experience also expanded to include digital engagement, this position will contribute to marketing projects in order to promote the Jayhawk and CABB brands on social media platforms.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years Customer Service experience
- 1-3 years marketing/social media experience
- Minimum of Associates degree in business or related field
- CRM experience required (Sugar CRM preferred)
- SAP experience required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
