As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for directly interfacing with customers (both internal and external) to handle a variety of requests as well as coordinating with internal functions (shipping, manufacturing, sales, marketing, engineering, etc.) to ensure the customers’ needs are fully met.
Speak directly with customers either by telephone, electronically or face to face.- In addition to customers being assigned by territory, the individual in this role will be responsible for matching external Lighting professionals with their local agent representative in a traditional call center environment.
- The role requires an individual with a "service-oriented" mindset and able to take ownership for resolving issues and making it easy for customers to do business with Spitzer Lighting.
- Working with various departments to handle and resolve customer complaints.
- Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle product and service inquiries.
- Organize workflow to meet customer timeframes.
- Direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated resource
- Keep records of customer interactions and transactions including details of inquiries, comments complaints, and actions taken
- Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the customer's experience.
- Provide actions to customers and assist with general inquiries on warranty, return, resolving issues and handling customer complaints, and other requests with analytical, problem solving and logic building skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- Proficient knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers via the phone, e-mail, and other written and verbal communication mediums.
- Strong work ethic, flexibility, and a desire to actively contribute to the group's success.

- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
- Experience with CRM or system equivalent.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks, remain focused and reach a resolution.
