Job Description
Position Title: Customer Support Specialist
Location: Eastbrunswick, NJ (Onsite)
Shift Type: Monday-Thursday 9:00am-6:00pm, Friday 9:00am-2:00pm
Salary: $18-21/hr (Based on call center experience)
Main Responsibilities:
Handle inbound communication channels (phone, email, chat, messenger) promptly and professionally, addressing consumer inquiries and resolving issues.
Troubleshoot product problems and manage warranty claims and return authorization processes.
Identify opportunities for upselling and capitalize on marketing promotions to generate additional revenue.
Utilize Navision software for order entry and ZenDesk for customer support, ensuring accurate documentation of orders and consumer contracts.
Maintain meticulous records and documentation as per internal procedures.
Collaborate with shipping and production departments to ensure efficient product shipping.
Assist the Customer Service Manager with creating written documentation, responses, and other knowledge-based materials.
Maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions with customers and colleagues.
Provide input for departmental improvement.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous Customer Service experience, preferably in a call center setting.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Capacity to learn and retain technical product information.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
Excellent organizational skills with a commitment to follow-through.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Pay Details: $18.00 to $21.00 per hour
