Customer Service Associate Position:

WilliamSmith Fireplaces & Home Accents supplies and installs wood-burning and gas fireplaces, pre-engineered gas fireboxes, gas logs & lights, mantels and surrounds, chimney tops and an array of gas outdoor products in Charleston and the surrounding Low Country area.

WilliamSmith Fireplaces & Home Accents is a small family owned business that has been operating in the Charleston area for over 15 years. We pride ourselves on a relaxed work environment, focused on work/life balance, and our ability to come together to collectively deliver great Customer Service.

We are looking for a highly detailed, organized, and proactive individual to join our team in the role of Customer Service Assistant. Primary Duties include:

· Manage large amounts of incoming calls.

· Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction

· Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communications,

· Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution

· Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents

· Take the extra mile to engage customers

Preferred candidate will have:

· Proven customer support experience or experience as a client Service Representative

· Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening

· Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters

· Excellent communication and presentation skills

· Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

· Familiarity with CRM systems and practices

· Team Oriented

· Organizing and facilitating daily workload – self starter

Education:

· High School Diploma at a minimum
