Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Customer Service Representatives to join our client’s call center team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the frontline of our company, providing exceptional service and support to our valued customers. This role involves handling inbound and outbound calls, resolving inquiries, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills. This is a Contract to Hire position located near Bartlett, IL.
Responsibilities:
- Handle a high volume of incoming calls from customers regarding inquiries, orders, complaints, or feedback.
- Make outbound calls to follow up on customer inquiries, resolve issues, or provide additional information.
- Provide accurate and comprehensive information to customers regarding products, services, policies, and procedures.
- Assist customers in resolving issues, complaints, or technical problems in a professional and courteous manner.
- Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve resolution during the first point of contact.
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate supervisors or departments when necessary and follow up to ensure resolution.
- Enter and maintain accurate customer information in the database or CRM system.
- Document all interactions and transactions with customers accurately and promptly.
- Stay updated on product features, pricing, promotions, and company policies through ongoing training sessions.
- Utilize product knowledge to effectively address customer inquiries and upsell products or services when appropriate.
- Adhere to established call center guidelines and quality standards to ensure consistent service delivery.
- Meet performance targets such as call handling time, customer satisfaction scores, and resolution rates.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to resolve complex issues and improve overall customer experience.
- Share insights and feedback to contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred.
- Proven Customer Service experience in a call center or customer-facing role.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Proficient computer skills and familiarity with CRM systems or databases.
