About the job
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a crucial member, you will play a pivotal role in responding to customer inquiries, processing spare parts orders, and supporting our esteemed Field Service Technicians. Currently, this is an on-site role, located in Elizabethtown, NC.
As a part of the team, you will:

• Efficiently process customer orders for spare parts and equipment.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of Alfa Laval's Kathabar product catalog to aid customers in parts selection.
• Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely order delivery.
• Act as the primary liaison for Field Service Technicians regarding sales inquiries.
• Provide technical support and guidance on parts and equipment.
• Ensure technicians are equipped with necessary parts and tools for field assignments.
• Assist in scheduling and organizing technician visits to customer sites.
• Cultivate strong relationships with customers and technicians.
• Address customer inquiries promptly and resolve issues to maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Keep customers and technicians informed about product updates and information.
• Gather customer feedback to improve service quality.
• Maintain accurate records of sales transactions and technician interactions.
• Print and distribute project drawings to the factory.
• Generate regular reports on sales performance, order statuses, and technician support activities.

What you know:
You have an Associate degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field with relevant experience and:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in inside sales or Customer Service, preferably in a technical or industrial environment.
• Proficiency in sales processes and customer relationship management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with CRM software
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite knowledge.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Technical aptitude with a willingness to learn about Alfa Laval's Kathabar products.
• Bilingual is a plus.

We rely on market indicators and consider your specific job, background, skills, and experience to get it right. The base salary for this role is typically $45,000 - $55,000.
