Summary of Position with General Responsibilities:
Our 55 year old firm is a B2B firm serving the interior design community, wholesalers/distributors and specialized industrial accounts. The ideal candidate will oversee all customer interactions regarding our coating, laminating, converting and grand format digital printing services. Candidate will interact and work closely with sales, production, shipping and accounting to facilitate providing world class Customer Service.
Essential Job Functions:
- In a timely manner, respond to incoming customer phone and email inquiries regarding pricing, ordering instructions, estimated ship timing upon completion of production.
- Facilitate customer acknowledgement of terms and conditions of sale and welcome letters to new customers.
- Accurately process customer purchase orders into our SAGE100, ensuring that all customer details are accounted for such as proper pricing, terms of payment, shipping details, etc. are applied to all work orders.
- Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication.
- Handle complaints and provide appropriate solutions and alternatives in a timely fashion and follow-up to ensure resolution.
- Math skills – be able to convert yards/feet/inches into other measurements, such as square feet or meters.
- Exhibit flexibility to aid other departments when needed.
- Candidate already has superior command of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office, including accurate keyboarding skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong multi-tasking ability.
- CRM experience is most helpful.
- Willingness to learn.
While there will be opportunities to work remotely on occasion, primarily candidate will be required to be on premises, particularly during training and until fully competent in the position.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.50 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
