About the Position
The Customer Service Representative plays a critical role in maintaining the smooth functioning of a warehouse and ensuring that goods are stored and shipped efficiently and accurately.
Responsibilities:
- Answers customer inquiries via phone or email regarding order status, product information, and shipping information.
- Generates itemized pick list from customer sales orders for the Warehouse Team.
- Collaborates with warehouse personnel to monitor and track the level of activity within the warehouse.
- Communicates with departments to resolve customer inquiries regarding assembly issues or returns to the customer's satisfaction while adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Accurately maintains and updates customer records.
- Acts as the point of contact for customers regarding warranties on purchases.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- 3+ years in Customer Service required.
- Customer service experience in playground or construction industry preferred.
- Must be bilingual, with an ability to read and write in both English and Spanish.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Google Sheets and Excel.
- Ability to rapidly grasp industry-specific products, installation standards, and related knowledge.
- Ability to work conditions involving heat, cold, and loud noises.
