- Provide email and telephone support to homebuilders and electricians specifically for lighting fixture orders for production/volume homebuilder clients
- Process and respond to customer requests for warranty issues, additional materials, etc.
- Investigate the cause of each customer support issue and provide feedback to the responsible team member
- Prepare and maintain job files by retrieving purchase orders and blueprints, resolving discrepancies, and processing work orders
- Enter customer orders into point-of-sale software
- Manage order changes and errors with customers and team members
- Communicate order status issues with field personnel and customers
- Work within detailed Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and workbooks
- Exercise basic administrative skills such as filing, labeling, copying, and scanning
- Have an eye for details, and you are well organized and dependable
- Communicate clearly and in a respectful and professional manner via email and phone
- Have a Customer Service heart
- Are patient and not quick to react
- Are investigative, inquisitive, and wants to understand the “why” behind errors or mistakes
- Exercise good judgement when balancing the needs of the customer with those of company
- Are an independent worker who prefers a structured routine with occasional "curveball" projects
- Understand the importance of giving and receiving useful yet respectful feedback
- Are a team player who can meet deadlines and work occasional overtime when necessary
- Have Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
- A background in construction or ability to read residential blueprints extremely helpful, but not required.
The hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM. We offer an hourly wage and access to insurance and 401k benefits after 60 days of employment. We are a smoke-free workplace. Background investigation, MVR, and drug screening required. Thank you for your interest.
