LifeHelp is seeking an experienced manager of people and projects to help run our Operations Department.

If so, we may have a position for you! A professional opportunity within the insurance industry is now available here in Redding, CA. Our national company is looking to add a Customer Service Manager to its Customer Service department.

Prior supervisory experience is a must, and inbound call center experience is preferred (but not necessary). Those with a background in insurance will have an advantage. English/Spanish bilingual is a huge plus, but not required.

About the Job

Here's what you'd be doing:

  • Supervise and work alongside service center employees, providing leadership, coaching and mentoring as well as developing and delivering performance plans and evaluations
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of all departmental functions and be prepared to fill in/provide additional support whenever needed – that means training with your staff so that you can answer customer calls and process applications, change forms, claims, and whatever else the department needs, as well as helping your staff become more efficient
  • Create and enforce Customer Service standards and audit work accordingly
  • In concert with management, maintain departmental policies and procedures, ensuring that operations are conducted in accordance with insurance company and state/federal requirements

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has proven experience in a Customer Service management role
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Proficient in project management and able to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Has a can-do, will-do attitude and is highly receptive to feedback
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to negotiate resolutions
  • Is willing and able to obtain their Life, Accident and Health license within six months of employment
