Customer Service / Dispatch Manager

Dynamic, rapidly growing and expanding Company needs your Customer Service and dispatch expertise to contribute to the strategic development of this organization.
You will be responsible for monitoring requests, scheduling the crew’s daily jobs in a geographically orderly fashion, organizing calendars, staying up to date on emergency situations, providing excellent Customer Service and managing the team.
An excellent Customer ServiceDispatch Manager is required to have Five (5) plus years of Customer Service and supervisory experience. In addition, you must possess great communication skills, technical skills, the ability to lead, sense of urgency, critical thinking, geographical knowledge (Tampa Area) and Bilingual English / Spanish.
Essential Responsibilities:
· Receive and accept dispatch orders from builders and on-site decision makers.
· Post, update and monitor the sub-contractor(s) schedules.
· Follow up with subs to ensure they are on time for both arrival and departure times.
· Assist direct reports schedulers.
· Ensure that a customer’s service window is met so calls do not escalate; procedures and workflow expectations are followed without defect.
· Ensure operational procedures are followed to standard operating procedure.
· Provide support to drivers with technical issues.
· Respond to all communications media - phone calls, voicemail, texts.
· Manage and maintain work communication media, for jobs and schedules.
· Prioritize calls according to the urgency and the importance of calls.
· Returns calls within a 10–15-minute window for schedules.
· Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions.
· Provide drivers with information about the order/P.O. or route assigned, any traffic issues or obstacles, and job requirements for the assigned shift.
· Update drivers with any changes regarding rules and regulations of DOT requirements
· Ensure all routes-dispatches are honored.
· Respond to any request and complaints made by the customer.
Essential Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s or associate degree in communications is preferred.
· Experience in scheduling jobs, Customer Service, and dispatching within the trades industry.
· Active listener with strong communication skills.
· Possesses the capability to provide instructions and solutions clearly and understood by both customers and drivers.
· Must have clear understanding of the city of Tampa (geographically) – travel times to and from sites, minimizing windshield time.
· Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities.
· Ability to work under pressure.
· Verifiable experience with all Microsoft Office software programs.
· Must be able to self-educate on transportation applications or systems in place.
· Proficient in English and Spanish (Oral and written).
· Sound judgement and critical thinking.
· Flexibility versus rigid thinking and actions.
· Strong time management skills and a sense of urgency.
· Must know and have staff-drivers adhere to all company and DOT safety - traffic rules.
· Ability to text, email, and use media related platforms.
· Must be able to work efficiently, prioritize work and complete all assignments by the end of the day.
