Customer Service And Retail Associate

St Louis Composting, producer of STA-Certified Compost, Mulch Products and Soil Blends, is accepting applications for future consideration for a Customer Service/Retail Associate.

Position Responsibilities:

· Provide Customer Service to customers both in person and over the phone.

· Rotate/float to any other retail locations, depending on location. Other locations include: Belleville, IL 62223, Maryland Heights, MO 63043, St. Louis City 63147, Pacific, MO 63069, Florissant, MO 63034, Arnold, MO 63010, Troy, IL 62294, St. Peters, MO 63376.

· Respond to inbound/outbound calls and inquiries.

· Assist management with the day-to-day office and Retail operations.

· Communicate with customers and vendors.

· Perform retail transactions in a professional and accurate manner.

· Handle customer requests and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.

· Answer customer questions regarding services and product knowledge.

· Maintain office supplies and basic cleaning in and around the facility and office.

· Perform computer-based tasks such as e-mails, keyboarding, and reports.

Minimum Required Skills/Experience:

· Must be able to read and understand English.

· Must be authorized to work in the United States.

· Must be willing to submit to a criminal background screening and able to successfully pass an extensive drug screening prior to hire, which includes urine, hair, and breath-alcohol testing.

· Must present a neat and well-groomed appearance.

· Must be a strong team player and exhibit excellent teamwork with co-workers.

· Must be able to work well in a high volume, fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
