Customer Service Agent
Alaska Air Transit is hiring a Customer Service Agents for our Merrill Field, Anchorage, location.
We are looking for a hard working team-player to be a key member of our organization. This position serves as the public face of our company; if you are welcoming, patient, self-motivated, and detail- oriented, we would like to hear from you. Experience with computers, including word processing and email, is essential for this role.
What you’ll do:
- Serve as the main point of contact with our customers.
- Greet and assist customers, and respond to a variety of customer questions and requests.
- Learn and Use our reservation system to schedule passengers and process payments.
- Manage the passenger check-in process, including preparation of baggage and freight for travel.
- Lift and move up to 50 pounds without assistance, perform light custodial and housekeeping tasks.
- Communicate complex concepts to customers regarding flight status, pricing, schedules, and weather issues.

- A work tempo that can range from slow to fast-paced!
- To listen to customer concerns, and work to problem solve any issues.

Position Details
Salary: Starting at $17.00 hour, DOE.
Position is: Part-time, Weekends required.
