Purpose of the position
- The Customer Project Manager is responsible for providing quality and timely delivery of inverters and MV stations to utility scale projects in North America. Duties include providing project management assistance, managing project scope and station integration, delivering inverter solutions to meet specific customer needs, and supporting customer negotiations and installation projects.
Primary duties / responsibilities
- Defines the scope, schedule, and cost basis for utility scale project proposals.
- Coordinates with Sales department to communicate customer and client needs, and to negotiate contracts and order changes.
- Manages all aspects of project delivery, including planning and MV station integration.
- Monitors and provides reports on task completion and forecasting of project milestones.
- Provides an effective point of contact for the customer, and measures success from the customer's perspective.
- Triggers effective and timely PO and invoice activities.
- Focuses on building partner relationships with EPCs and station integrators.
- Identifies and completes process improvement projects.
- Responsible for decisions related to the project.
- Partial budget responsibility.
- Other duties as may be required or assigned.
Required training (type / duration / field / additional training)
- A bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- Basic Certification in Project Management (e.g., CAPM) is a plus.
Required relevant professional experience (type / duration)
- At least 2 years of project management experience are required.
- Experience in renewable energy is preferred
- Electrical/mechanical background preferred
Other specialized skills
- Knowledge of contracts and legal documentation is required.
- Knowledge of renewable energy sector is preferred.

- Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal, is required. German and/or Spanish language skills are a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint) is strongly preferred.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy are required.
- Ability to facilitate effective meetings.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- This position may require periodic domestic and international travel.
The compensation range for this position is $95,000 - $110,000 annually.
