Position Overview:
Siemens Mobility is seeking to hire a Commercial ProjectManager/Project Controller for our Projects and Innovation business under the CustomerService business unit to support exciting new projects. You will be fullyaccountable to the commercial and financial management through the projectexecution as you collaborate with internal and external partners. An ability tomulti-task and handle challenging deadlines will be critical to the role. This role will be based in Sacramento, CA witha hybrid work schedule.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Leading projects by creating bookings, settingup project WBS structure, budget, and monitoring project financial status basedon planned delivery schedule
- Perform financial planning, forecasting,controlling, and reconciliation of project cash flow and standard deviationanalysis using SAP.
- Implement and drive measures to improve projectperformance (claims management and variation management)
- Monitor and communicate trends, assessimplications, and develop practical strategies.
- Lead the admin side of given projects such asinvoicing, booking, and monitoring/controlling budget spending in procurement
- Work with multi-functional teams (ProjectManagers, Legal, Operations, Procurement, Engineering, HR, etc.) to help them reachtheir financial goals and drive better efficiency and productivity on bidsproposals and ongoing projects.
- Recommend, implement, and report on financialand operating performance benchmarks.
- Assist in producing and analyzing financialreports impacting the Company's performance.
To thrive in this role, you have:
- Bachelor's degree required, with a major inFinance, Economics, Business, or Accounting preferred,
- 5+ years of validated experience with financialplanning, accounting, and finance, with the ability to provide strategicinsight through financial metrics.
- Advanced analytical abilities, financialmodeling, strong Microsoft Excel, Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP a plus), andstrong business modeling skills
- Excellently demonstrated verbal and writtencommunication skills while interacting at all levels of the organization
- Setting you apart from others would be a CPA, MBA, or MS with manufacturingsector experience and exposure to general accounting and cost accounting.

Theactual salary/wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget andcandidate experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
