Customer Care Specialist (Temp To Perm - 90 Day)

We are hiring a Customer Care Specialist with experience in sales, retention, and customer service. Successful candidates will handle inbound and outbound telephone calls from residential customers.

Job Requirements:

• Must be available to work Monday-Friday between 7AM-4PM CST
• Must have internet access for telecommuting
• Must be able to pass background check and drug screening

Training & Development:

• Candidates will undergo a 2-day paid training program.

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle inbound calls to support D2D sales by verifying customer information
• Place outbound calls to prospects to verify agreement terms and customer details
• Support customers with service inquiries in ERCOT and PJM markets
• Leverage each opportunity presented to retain customers through saves/renewal process
• Maintain confidentiality of customer and business information
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities/trainings
• Ability to meet all Call Center Metrics
• Perform other duties assigned by the management

Education/Experience:

• 1-2 years Call Center Experience (Required)
• 1-2 years Retail Energy Experience (Required)
• Ability to retain customers and market existing services
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with listening skills
• Positive, customer focused attitude with a desire to exceed customer expectations
• Able to operate in a team environment and contribute to our company goals
• Strong analytical skills required

Language Requirements:

• Bilingual Spanish/English –Reading and speaking proficiency
