Essential Job Functions
- Responsible for the daily repair and upkeep of the properties while exhibiting strong customer service to clients and staff;
- Cleans and disinfects rooms, restrooms, offices, and other common areas within the building environment to established standards.
- Collect and dispose of regular trash and recycle materials.
- Replenish, hand soap, hand sanitizers, other supplies as needed.
- Wet mops floors with disinfectant using microfiber material following standard operating procedure.
- Handle various types of cleaning chemicals in compliance with applicable regulations and utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Dust all horizontal and vertical surfaces, furniture, clean and polish fixtures, air vents, handrails, blinds, windows, sills, and other items as required.
- Performing routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage, for example, window, door, ceiling tile, or wall repair.
- Responsible for the care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment
- Perform other like duties as assigned.
- Inspect areas for maintenance needs.
- Report any conditions requiring maintenance attention or repair to immediate supervisor
- Maintain and repair appliances and fixtures within the YWCA’s main office and satellite locations, such as but not limited to shower and sink faucets, toilets, minor clogs, etc.
- Provide grounds keeping services including; landscaping, leaf removal, and lawn-care. Snow removal may be included or contracted out, as appropriate.
- Assist, where applicable and with experienced professionals, with plumbing and HVAC issues.
Program Specific Items:
- Coordinate agency van maintenance;
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent certificate.
- 2+ years' experience.
- Strong ethics and ability to maintain confidentiality of services/clients;
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fluid and dynamic environment;
- Ability to work independently with sound judgment;
- Ability to work a variety of shifts in support of a 24 hour a day, 7 days a week operation;
- Availability of vehicle and current driver’s license;
- Able to bend and lift 40 pounds and navigate stairs.

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
