The Culinary Crew executes all tasks necessary within the Front of House and Back of House operational areas to ensure an exceptional guest experience. The Culinary Crew works on F&B projects throughout each shift, monitoring food quality and ensuring that all safety and sanitation standards are always maintained. This role leads by example to establish and provide hospitality to all external and internal team members. The Culinary Crew is responsible for meeting all daily priorities required for each event. This role reports to the F&B Management Team and is a part-time event-based position in the Food and Beverage Department of Anaheim Arena Management. Hours fluctuate and depend on the arena event schedule.
Responsibilities
  • Able to execute high volume levels of any/all menu items to recipe specifications; work within any kitchen space utilizing multiple stations including, but not limited to, fryer, pizza, salad, grill, and sauté
  • Prepare and execute all menu items per company standards and recipe specifications
  • Create all prepared entrees/menu items with accuracy and attention to detail, and execute to keep up with the pace of restaurant/operation
  • Pay close attention to details concerning
  • to menu presentation, food packaging/plating, flavor profiles, and timeliness of delivery
  • Maintain appropriate levels and quantities of food products based on business needs, including bulk ingredients, prepped foods, and any ancillary garnishes needed to execute menu items
  • Verify and maintain all food and ingredients for freshness and quality
  • Execute any/all opening, operational, and/or closing duties; responsibilities include breaking down workstations/service areas, washing dishes, mopping/scrubbing floors, and returning dishware/smallware to the respective kitchens from where it was obtained
  • Know the POS system, including mobile ordering, self-checkout, and kiosk ordering methods
  • Work with the team to achieve multiple goals under intense time restraints and logistical obstacles
  • Manage and adjust par levels of products in all operations based on the business level demand
  • Think and plan, doing the best to build skills, improve, and expand the knowledge base every day
  • Work hard to be the ultimate collaborator

  • Understand and adhere to the sanitation practices of the company and the Health Department

Skills
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous experience in a restaurant preferred
  • Existing knowledge of food safety procedures preferred
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Strong guest service focus
  • Meticulous mindfulness and attention to detail
  • Physical ability to stand for an entire shift and lift 50+ pounds
  • Willingness to work all hours, including holidays, nights, and weekends
