About our Critical Care Unit:

With 6 state-of-the-art rooms we provide care for adult and pediatric patients alike. Patients requiring ventilation support, vasopressin drugs, thrombolytic agents, as well as cardiac monitoring are cared for in the Critical Care Unit.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Critical Care unit. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of Critical Care experience and provide high-quality care to patients.

Responsibilities:

• Plans, coordinates and implements patient care for the Critical Care patients. 

• Demonstrates proficiency in the care of patients in Critical Care unit after appropriate orientation.
• Maintains ability to perform competencies within the unit and completes renewal of competencies annually.
• Is able to assess and interpret data about the patient’s status to identify each patient/ family’s specific needs and to provide the care needed to the appropriate level.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in CA
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS certification required prior to the end of orientation date.
• 2 years of RN experience required
• 1 year of experience in Critical Care preferred
