Newport Mesa Pulmonary Group is seeking a Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine Specialist (MD or DO) for our outpatient clinic in Costa Mesa, California!
This position is 100% outpatient with a convenient Monday-Friday 9am-6pm. The schedule is flexible and we can find a solution that fits your needs. We do have a robust inpatient service and you are welcome to also provide inpatient services (with additional pay), but not mandatory.
We’re based out of a comprehensive Oncology center with complete Pulmonary Rehabilitation. We also have an Interventional Pulmonologist who can perform all your outpatient procedure needs or you can perform your own outpatient or inpatient procedures.
Position Details:
Clinic Location: Costa Mesa, California – less tan 1 min from the hospital
Outpatient Pulmonary Care with a robust Pulmonary Physiology Laboratory
Average Patients per day (full day): 24 (12 per half day)
No Critical Care coverage or ICU shift work. Dedicated in house ICU service is available to support you if you want to provide inpatient Pulmonary consultation.

Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated expertise as Pulmonary Medicine Specialist with 1-2 years of experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal and conflict resolution abilities.
Required Qualifications:
Unrestricted CA Physician License
Current CA DEA certificate required prior to start date
Board Eligible/Board Certified Pulmonary Medicine
EMR Proficient – Office Ally outpatient, EPIC inpatient
