Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Consumer Lending Specialist to join our client in Knoxville, TN! In this role, you will play a crucial role in assisting members with their loan needs while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and accuracy. This Direct-Hire opportunity offers $18.25-$20.25/Hour!
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide loan recommendations within established policies and guidelines to maintain an acceptable level of loan portfolio delinquency.
- Review all loan documents and new account agreement forms for completeness and accuracy prior to loan closing.
- Ensure accurate entry of loans and new accounts into the computer system.
- Prioritize job duties to expedite processes efficiently.
- Process incomplete, denied, and counter-offer applications according to the client’s procedures and Federal Regulations.
- Review relevant policies and procedures annually.
- Communicate actual or potential problems to Loan Center Manager or Assistant Manager.
- Cross-sell the client’s products and services when appropriate.
- Compile information for management reports promptly.
- Adhere to all the client’s policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Represent the client in a professional manner, including appearance, behavior, and performance.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Work cooperatively with others.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required. Previous lending experience preferred.
- Must possess the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform essential functions satisfactorily.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively in English.
- Proficient in basic mathematical operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to use sound reasoning to carry out instructions and resolve problems effectively.
- Proficient in operating computer applications including Word, Excel, and email. Typing proficiency required. Familiarity with other business equipment such as adding machines, coin and money counting machines, and telephone systems is preferred.
