Job Description
• Facilitate collections of Accounts Receivables including identifying delinquent accounts, contacting customers to make payment arrangements, following up, sending notification, and involving 3rd party collections, if necessary.
• Communicate effectively and proactively address concerns, issues, and disputes of external and internal inquiries from customers, CSRs, sales, and sales order administrators on a timely basis. Provide regular forecasts of cash receipts and manage portfolio to achieve results.
• Assess collectability of all national accounts customer invoices to ensure the completeness of the company's bad debt reserve and timely write-off of uncollectible invoices.
• Handle collection problems to eliminate the need for outside collection efforts.
• Manage deductions, matching Credit Memos (CM's) to Debit Memos (OM's).
• Create manual invoices/credit memos as needed.
• Ensure clients’ billing accounts are set up correctly and according to their requirements.
• Review daily log of invoices and manage invoice handling including mailing and uploading into vendor portals.
• Ensure billings are made monthly and received by customers.
• Process necessary adjustments on customer invoices.
• Prepare special credit reports to analyze, summarize account history and trend information and collect.
• Review and report current processes and recommend process improvements at Department and Inter-Departmental Meetings
