SynergenX Health Holdings is seeking an experienced and energetic Credentaling Specialist to join our growing team. SynergenX is the leader in Hormone Replacement Therapy. Position Summary
Credentialing specialists maintain regular cooperation and compliance with all regulatory, accrediting, and membership-based organizations. They create and carry out various credentialing processes in relation to physicians and advance practice providers. They ensure that all personnel and services adhere to facility and staff policies, department guidelines, regulations, and government laws. Credentialing specialists generally process applications and reappointment paperwork, checking for full completeness and accuracy. They constantly collect and process significant amounts of verification and accreditation information, and thus must constantly maintain and update accurate databases for all providers and facilities. These databases include pertinent education, training, experience, and licensure content. Credentialing specialists must prepare their own records for regular auditing, as well as maintain close communication with all providers to ensure that records are up-to-date and consistent.
PRIMARY RESPONISBILITIES:
- Compiles and maintains current and accurate data for all providers.
- Completes provider credentialing and recredentialing applications, monitors applications and follows-up as needed.
- Maintains copies of current state licenses, DEA certificates, malpractice coverage and any other required credentialing documents for all providers.
- Ensures practice addresses are current with health plans, agencies and other entities.
- Maintains knowledge of current health plan and agency requirements for credentialing providers.
- Work with 3rd party credentialing companies to ensure timely professional entity credentialing.
- Work with 3rd party credentialing companies to renegotiate contracts.
- Maintain and update providers CAQH, DEA, State License and BLS.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider credentialing records in credentialing software system.
- Participate in quality assurance monthly chart reviews.
- Configure templates and workflows within DocuSign platform to facilitate efficient routing and signing of documents.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Work location is onsite in Northwest Houston Monday to Friday 8am-5pm.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Preferred 2 year degree in Healthcare admin (Not required)
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience of credentialing Healthcare professionals (CAQH, NPI, DEA and Insurance) in healthcare sector.
- Ability to Work independently.
