Position
Reporting to the Operations Director, you will be a part of Purposes Recovery clinical services including managing a client case load, meeting with clients for one on one sessions, leading 2-3 group therapy sessions a week - as well ensure Purposes Recovery services model is effectively implemented across all agency programs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual case managment sessions.
- Participation in multi-disciplinary implementation of individual treatment plans and update weekly - including measurable goals, interventions, family participation, and client goals for self.
- Perform psychosocial assessments and create preliminary treatment plans.
- Ensure all clinical charting and records are completed in the appropriate timeframe.
Requirements
- Experience with substance abuse populations preferred
- Training in evidence-based practice
- Ability to demonstrate respect for cultural and lifestyle diversity of clients and staff
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications:
- CCM, CADC
- Prior experience working in community mental health
- Must work well in a team setting
- Must have a desire/passion to help demographic: mental health/substance abuse.
- Nuanced understanding of the impact of trauma (generational, complex, historical, and community) on families
- Commitment to reflective practice, trauma-informed care, and principles of diversity, equity and inclusion
- Effective communication (verbal and written) with a diverse group of people including clients, therapists, colleagues
- Professional, resourceful, tactful style with the ability to respond immediately and appropriately in different contexts
- Qualified applicants must successfully pass background check
- Access to a reliable automobile, current insurance and valid driver’s license
