Salary Description: From $17.31 an hour
- Department: Medical Affairs Administration
- Schedule: Full time, Day shift. 8am-4:30pm, Monday - Friday
- Facility: St John Medical Center
- Location: 1923 S. Utica Ave. Tulsa, 74104
Process credentialing and re-credentialing applications of health care providers.
- Review applications, prepare verification letters and maintain database.
- Contact medical office staff, licensing agencies, and insurance carriers to complete credentialing and re-credentialing applications.
- Complete administrative duties, such as ensuring state medical licenses are up-to-date and checking the status of new license applications.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and legal requirements related to the Medical staff.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Credentialing Specialist preferred.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
- Microsoft Office/Google Suites
- Team player
- Excellent written and verbal communication, detail oriented
