We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work closely with our Physical Therapists to provide high-quality care and support to patients. Responsibilities:
- Assist Physical Therapists in evaluating and treating patients
- Implement treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patient mobility and function
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for at-home exercises and self-care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Mobile and Clinic Therapy
Requirements:
- Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Experience working in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred
- Familiarity with trigger point therapy and occupational health practices is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
