FocusKPI is looking for a Creative Director/ Copywriterto join our client, a high-tech SaaS company.
The client is currently seeking a Creative Director with a craft copywriting focus to partner with creative directors, art
directors, designers, producers, researchers, and product marketers to develop creative on behalf of their brand, ensuring a consistent voice through all touch points. This person should be a highly strategic thinker with a proven track record for leading efforts to execute across film, social media, web, OOH, and events.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with copywriting for web and campaigns and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative, semi-structured environment is critical. This person must be comfortable guiding teams,
agencies and/or production partners, but should be also willing to roll up their sleeves to do the work.
Work Location: Remote: anywhere in the US
Duration: 3-4 months with possibility for extension or conversion depending on your performance and budget in future
Pay Range: $70/hr to $90/hr
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the strategy and creative direction of marketing and brand creative
- Concept and write advertising and marketing materials
- Manage development of executions that strongly resonate with a range of audiences while maintaining consistency for the brand
- Develop original breakthrough ideas for a variety of marketing touch-points
- Work cross-functionally, balancing the needs of stakeholders and breaking down complex narratives into simple, compelling ideas
- Provide creative direction, guidance and oversight to creative teams
- Create and sustain a culture of excellence as a beloved leader of creatives partnering with producers, program managers, and product marketing managers Inspiring, enabling, and energizing a world class creative team
- Collaborate with designers, researchers, product managers, product marketers and engineers to serve a global audience
- Experience managing and mentoring creative teams
- Write for TV/video, mobile, web, OOH and more
- Help lead and manage both in-house and external teams in creative strategy, execution and production
- Experience across creative expression: traditional, digital (including products), experiential, and ideas that drive earned media
- Has a track record of building partnerships with XFN teams
- Lead break through, integrated marketing campaigns
- Has leadership experience in a global role
- Understands diverse cultural, social and business landscapes
- Can influence at all levels
- Is skilled at communicating effectively amidst ambiguous and/or high-pressure environments
- Understands how to work effectively with XFN teams and lead with influence
Qualifications:
- 10+ years experience as a creative leader creative agency and/or an internal client side
- Must have copywriting discipline
- Experience in creative directions
- Experience developing and managing consumer marketing programs in a data-driven, integrated marketing environment
- Experience in a multitude of creative disciplines, including product, film, OOH and events
- Experience across creative expression: traditional, digital (including products), experiential with ideas that drive earned media
- Agency background is good to have
- Excellent written and verbal communication
