The Director of Creative Content will ideate, own, lead production, and deliver short and long-form content deliverables and formats for Red Bull Records artists and Red Bull Records-owned content. You should live and breathe online content in the music and lifestyle landscape, be confident presenting ideas to artists and internal teams and effectively lead internal and external creative vendor teams at various production levels and budgets. Reporting to the Chief Creative Officer you will work closely with the digital marketing team to inform data points that can inform content creation. Experience in managing in-house and external vendor creative teams, budgets, and production timelines is required.
Job Description
CONTENT DEVELOPMENT
Ideate, lead and deliver short and long-form content capture for artists and our own channels
Collaborate with Digital Marketing teams for data insights to better inform content ideation and development
Work closely with Marketing leads and Artists to ideate artist-specific unique content pieces
Establish and stick to budgets and confidently pitch to various teams
CONTENT PRODUCTION
Identify and lead internal or external vendor teams for production
Develop production timelines and hold creators and vendors accountable for delivery dates
Responsible for maintenance and care of all video department equipment
Vital project management skills to oversee multiple content production projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the desired quality standards.
TEAM LEADERSHIP
Be a confident self-starter to get your ideas funded from internal budgets, baked by stakeholders, and into production
Lead internal and external content creator teams with motion graphics and other video requirements
Build a network of production vendors of various budget brackets
Confidently work with Artists and vendors to get content briefs over the line
CONTENT STRATEGY
Develop content and production strategies to align with viewership, engagement, and subscription goals
Identify digital content trends and success stories to inform production and roll-out strategy
Develop content and formats to incorporate new platform features and emerging trends
Identify and pivot development and productions when necessary to amplify successes
Strategize content A/B testing and execute accordingly
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in content ideation, development, and production
A deep understanding of content production processes, including development, pre-production, production, and post-production.
Experience in leading and managing a team of content producers, editors, and creative professionals.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with artists, cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus
Additional Information
The base salary range for this position is $101,365 to $112,035 + cash incentives Actual salary offer may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
