Job Description
Pay Rate: $210000 to $240000 Per Year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

Position Purpose:
As the CPM President, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the operations, growth, and strategic direction of our business throughout the United States. You will be responsible for all aspects of CPM operations, P&L responsibility, driving business development, fostering key stakeholder relationships, and ensuring exceptional project delivery to our O&M team and our customers. This is a high-impact leadership position that requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, engineering and construction expertise, and exceptional leadership skills.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
The CPM President will be responsible for the overall effectiveness of the business which includes:
  • Design an ambitious growth strategy, leveraging our existing clients infrastructure needs, as well as the global capabilities of the group.
  • Provide thought leadership on the contract structure, risk allocation and execution of Infrastructure Programs and Capital Projects to meet and exceed business goals. Drive innovation with internal and external partners.
  • Lead capital project planning, as well as, direct and oversee the standardization of safety training, contracts, software, reporting, project documentation, schedule management, and cost control for CPM programs.
  • Establish strategic relationships with engineering, construction and financial entities to support business development opportunities and drive growth.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration within Municipal Water Contract Operations and the broader Veolia group.
  • Responsibility for plant, personnel and construction subcontractor safety, cost control, efficiencies, and financial performance of each region.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, municipalities, clients, and internal teams, to foster collaboration and secure new infrastructure projects.
  • As a member of the senior leadership team of Municipal Water, co-create the long-term ambition, strategy and operational model of the future.

Qualifications
Education/Experience/Background:
  • Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field ; MBA or other advanced degrees a plus.
  • 15+ years' progressively responsible experience in the Energy / Utilities / Environmental industries.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Demonstrated strategic, conceptual and analytical skills, including solid understanding of relevant commercial environmental issues.
  • Strong sense of purpose and willingness to contribute to a human-centric culture and to a broad impact.
  • Ability to analyze a variety of complex problems to make sound recommendations for their solutions.
  • P&L responsibility with thorough knowledge of financial management.
  • Experience working with integrated teams comprised of design professionals, contractors, consultants in the delivery of DBO projects. In-depth experience in project scheduling, cost analysis, contract terms development, technical scope development, contracting, cash flow analysis and other construction project related functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate, timely, effective, complete and easily understood written communications, reports and presentations for management, clients and the general public.
  • Demonstrated strong verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills in order to effectively communicate with peers, management, clients and the general public.

Required Certification/Licenses/Training:
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) a plus.
