Qualifications:
The Sterile Processing/OR Courier functions in support of the Operating Room and Sterile Processing teams to ensure safe and efficient movement of surgical instruments and other items between departments, in addition to rotation and restocking of instruments, and maintenance of recyclables. The Sterile Processing/OR Courier will perform their duties according to established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities: Clinical Excellence/Departmental Support
- Transporting instruments and case carts to/from Sterile Processing/OR or other departments as needed
- Transporting supplies from Central Sterile Supply area to OR
- Transporting bagged OR linen and trash to appropriate chutes and discarding according to policy
- Collecting and distributing mop heads, CO2 tanks, recyclables, masks and soaps in OR
- Restock OR Janitor Closet
- Unloading washer in SPD
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Writes, reads, comprehends, and speaks fluent English.
- Basic computer knowledge using word processing, spreadsheet, email, and web browser.
- Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position.
