Counter Staff manage all transactions and product service with customers quickly and accurately. Successful Talent maintain a professional and friendly attitude while interacting with customers to properly manage payment transactions, issues, and requests.
Responsibilities
- Deliver friendly, fast, and helpful customer service at the counter or register
- Accurately check out merchandise/goods for customers using the location's payment preference options (i.e. cash, check, credit card, etc.)
- Issue receipts, refunds, exchanges, or credits when required
- Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
- Manage time efficiently on shift by following checklists and prompts from previous shifts
- Constantly organize, and maintain front-of-house / customer areas
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Counter Clerk, Cashier
- Basic math skills and POS experience
- Strong time management skills with ability to multi-task, prioritize and stay organized
- Ability to meet physical demands of the position, including: walking, standing
- Demonstrate an outgoing and friendly behavior, a positive attitude and the ability to interact with customers
- Great communication skills and the ability to take direction in a team environment
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 18 per week
