Cost Accountant Ii

• Prepare monthly inventory journal entries with appropriate support.
• Assist in review P&L accounts to ensure spend is properly classified.
• Complete reconciliations of assigned balance sheet accounts, ensure accounts are supported by the appropriate source support.
• Perform cost validation and cost rolls on components and manufactured items.
• Perform weekly PPV analysis and make necessary cost adjustments.
• Complete and send out weekly inventory adjustment review.
• Provide general support to the finance team and perform other duties as assigned.

• Set goals and objectives with Plant Controller.
• Complete established goals within set deadlines.
• Provide timely status updates to the team on tasks, projects, etc.
• Help identify ways to improve quality and productivity.
• Back-up other team members when required.

• Significant progress toward an undergraduate degree in accounting or finance.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Organized, deadline driven, and detail oriented.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft office products.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to manage, prioritize and balance multiple tasks.
• High level of self-initiative and dependability.
• Must be professional in appearance and attitude and possess the ability to work in a professional manner with customers, vendors, and employees as all levels.
