Experience:
Minimum 3 years' experience; prefer 5+ experience in a manufacturing or service industry
Bachelor's degree in accounting
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
Proficient in Dynamics Business Central a plus
Job Responsibilities:
Partner between Accounting/Finance and other specialty teams to manage production costs and inventory pricing
Develops and implements product cost dashboards and KPl's
Performs calculations of overhead costs and variance analysis
Maintain project allocations between Intercompany departments
Manages Job Cost system and related processes, including recognizing cost of good sold and revenue for Capital Projects
Analyze results of production jobs by customer and works with Engineering departments to determine if price adjustments are necessary
Partner with internal departments to analyze cost savings initiatives and calculate payback periods for potential capital projects
Support month-end closing process by reconciling accounts and performing journal entries, as well as analyzing variances
Manage and maintain cost standards and bills of material for work-in-process and finished goods
