The California Conservation Corps' new Salinas Center has openings for Corpsmembers to work and train on natural resource projects and as part of the CCC Forestry Corps. Projects include tree felling, fuel reduction, tree planting, invasive species removal, and more! Corpsmembers may also be able to work on trails projects, improve local parks, and other natural resource work.
You must be 18-25 years old or military veteran 29 or younger. Benefits of enrolling in the CCC include:

Work with U.S. Forest Service, State Parks, Caltrans, Dept. of Water Resources, CAL FIRE, and other local government agencies and non-profits on a variety of natural resource projects. Corpsmembers regularly go on to careers with USFS, CAL FIRE, State Parks, Caltrans, and other local community agencies.
Shift times and length may vary by assignment, but the program is a 40-hour per week commitment.
