Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree. A minimum of six to ten years of progressively responsible administrative and supervisory experience in the management of park and recreation operations, and/or a revenue generating business operation or in a related field is required.

We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join the Miami-Dade Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department and serve as the Assistant Director of the PROS Stewardship Destinations Division. This position entails working in a highly dynamic setting and is responsible for developing solutions that push innovative boundaries. This position works closely with the Deputy Director and Director to strategize and develop long-term plans that usher in new levels of customer experience, growth and success at Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department. The Assistant Director of PROS Stewardship Destinations is responsible for overseeing the effectiveness of the department's leading revenue operations and its processes, ensuring that the policies provide the highest customer satisfaction and outputs. The Assistant Director of PROS Stewardship Destinations position is also responsible for strategizing goals and objectives to reach departmental targets according to business functions and requirements; identifying industry partnership and training opportunities and programs to increase the productivity and efficiency of staff; monitoring the cost and expenses reports, allocating resources, and developing business plans that will manage revenues and maximize cost recovery managing an operating budget of $65 million; and leading staff of approximately 800 out of the 2,700 employees within the Miami-Dade County Parks Department.
