The role you’ll contribute:
The Corporate Marketing Specialist is a member of the Corporate Marketing team, who oversees client relationships, defines, and executes marketing strategies and serves as the conduit between the client and internal creative resources. This individual possesses sound analytical and organizational skills and could strategically align operational practices with organizational goals. As well, they should be able to work independently and make operational decisions in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment. This is a department role that requires exceptional communication skills, an intuitive proficiency in new technologies and a strong desire to provide excellent customer service. The position reports to the Senior Manager of Corporate Marketing.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
- Manage several Corporate-based accounts, with the oversight of senior-level Account Strategists, reinforcing the organization's overall strategic positioning and ensuring consistency and adherence to the brand.
- Work collaboratively with Creative Services and Project Management & Production teams to ensure seamless integration of departmental resources and proper execution of departmental workflow process.
- Improve quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes, recommending changes as appropriate.
- Provide day-to-day operational support to the Corporate Marketing team's Account Strategists, including inputting all projects into the department's project management system, monitoring progress and keeping the respective strategist informed on project status. Build, develop and grow business relationships vital to the success of the department, to include all levels of leadership from across the system, and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Budgetary Knowledge – Has foundational understanding of accounting principles.
- Attention to Detail – Attentive to project and budgetary details.
- Understanding of Consumer Experience – Familiar with the consumer experience and understand what drives a consumer action.
- Knowledge of Marketing Trends – Must be adept at determining if marketing campaigns will be successful, so they should have in-depth knowledge of current trends.
- Time & Project Management - Able to manage their time efficiently with experience and capacity to handle multiple projects at once.
- Relationship Minded – Values interpersonal relationships and utilizes them to galvanize people and processes in a way that advances Marketing strategies.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Business, Communications or Marketing, or related field of study Or 1- 3 years of experience.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
- An internship in Advertising, Marketing, Business or Communications.
