The Summer Internship Program will build a foundation for early career talent and form future professionals at the organization. The internship program at TelevisaUnivision allows participants to obtain real on the job experiences in their areas of interest and specialty. This experience will expose interns to the broader business and understand how the areas operate and collaborate cross functionally.
Dates: June 10 to August 16, 2024
Hours: Approximately 40 hours a week
Pay: $18 an hour

YOUR DAY TO DAY:
• Support the day-to-day of the Corporate Communications teams with the external brand and executive visibility of several business units (Audio/Uforia, Local Media, Political Advocacy, ViX, Networks, Content Licensing, and Social Impact)
• Assist in drafting and updating communication documents such as press releases, talking points, executives' profiles, and briefing books.
• Collaborate with TelevisaUnivision's social media strategy by drafting content for the social media platforms, working with the designer to request the assets' development, and maintaining the calendar updated.
• Assist in developing communication plans for various Corporate projects, programs and initiatives.
• Conducts online research in support of Communications projects.
• Help media monitor for key Corporate Communications projects.
• There will be a group innovation project assigned to all interns at the beginning of the program where you will be working cross functionally and present the ideas at the end of the program to an executive committee.
YOU HAVE:
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing or a related field, preferred.
• Overall GPA minimum 3.0 or above.
• Expected graduation of summer 2024 or winter 2024.
• Strong communication, collaborative, and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of social media platforms and analytics
• Bilingual (English/Spanish), required.
• Participation in prior internships, extracurricular activities, community organizations and/or professional associations, preferred. Intern, Corporate Communications
• Must have unlimited work authorization in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
