Job description
We are looking for an experience Corporate Health, Safety and Risk Manager to join our growing team. You will be responsible for reviewing, designing and supporting policy or organizational programs based on current legislation, national, statewide and local trends and make recommendations to enhance Safety and mitigate risk at member organizations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Incumbent must have the skills, abilities, and judgment to perform the following essential job duties and responsibilities, with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Perform onsite risk and hazard evaluations at member organizations; reviews facility programs and processes to assess loss potential
- Conduct research and respond to employee and occupational safety questions
- Maintain a network of informational sources and experts; perform hazard and Risk evaluations of member organizations to include care areas; reviews facility programs and processes to assess loss potential
- Maintain risk management and employee safety statistics and files
- Collect and analyze relevant data concerning employee injuries; aggregates data summaries , maintains statistical trending losses and other risk management data
- Maintain awareness of legislative and regulatory activities related to healthcare risk management , industrial hygiene and workers compensation
- Recommend appropriate revisions to new or existing policies and procedures to members to mitigate risk
- Provide in-service training to frontline staff of organization to raise awareness to current and emerging risk exposure
- Support and encourage the development of colleagues
- Other duties as assigned or required
