Job Summary:
The Corporate Director of Patient Care Services will provide strategic leadership and align with the organization's mission and values.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership in clinical and patient services.
- Drive alignment with the organization's mission and values.
- Foster a supportive and collaborative culture in the clinical department.
- Oversee the implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with other executives to optimize patient outcomes.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to best practices.
- Lead the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
- Manage and develop a diverse team of clinical professionals.
- Collaborate with all departments to ensure specific agency KPI’s are being met.
Qualifications:
- Registered as an RN by the states that Lorian currently operates in – California and Nevada.
- Minimum of 15 years of combined experience in Home Health and Hospice, no less than a minimum of 5 years’ experience in each area.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Director of Patient Care Services for an organization that have Home Health and Hospice services.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience supporting multiple agencies.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in Clinical Management.
- Must have a proven track record of census growth and employee retention.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Systems (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and computerized systems in general required
- Knowledge of and ability to apply community health principles and practices.
- Ability to supervise, to guide, and to develop skills and performance of service personnel.
- Must have intermediate to expert PC and typing skills to include strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Systems.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment.
- Ability to work with individuals.
- Ability to enlist cooperation of many people in furthering a program.
- Ability to assist in evaluating personnel a minimum of one time per year.
- Ability to deal effectively with high levels of stress.
- Knowledge of Medicare/Medi-Cal rules and regulations relative to coverage and delivery of Home Health and Hospice services.
- Strong knowledge of CoPs, JCO Standards, CHAP Standards, Title 22.
- Strong knowledge in KPIs.
- Experience in leading Surveys.
- Writing Policies.
- Nursing skills are current in HH and Hospice.
- Strong understanding of Oasis and HIS.
- Strong understanding of Quality Measures and Compliance.
Education:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, MBA/MSN or similar degree preferred.
