Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the culinary operations of our Casual Dining establishments across multiple locations, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to brand standards.
- Develop and implement methods, processes, and order guides to streamline operations and optimize efficiency in each location.
- Train and educate all team members on culinary techniques, preparation methods, and recipe standards to uphold quality and consistency.
- Manage food and labor costs effectively, analyzing financial data and implementing strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining quality standards.
- Ensure each location is properly handling ordering and inventory, preparation and production, order timing, and communication with service staff.
- Maintain a strong understanding of Health Department standards and regulations, ensuring compliance and maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with management teams to address BOH repair and maintenance issues, ensuring efficient resolution and minimizing operational disruptions.
Requirements:
- Minimum 7+ years of BOH management experience in the culinary industry, with a focus on Casual Dining.
- Extensive experience in the New York City culinary scene, with a deep understanding of local food trends and preferences.
- Proven track record of success in multi-unit operations, with the ability to effectively oversee multiple locations.
- Food Handlers Certificate from NYC required.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve culinary excellence.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining composure and professionalism.
- Flexibility to travel between locations as needed and work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
