Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Consultant within Corporate & Investment Banking. Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) delivers a comprehensive suite of capital markets, banking, and financial products and services. A trusted partner to our clients, we provide corporate and transactional banking; commercial real estate lending and servicing; Investment Banking; equity; and fixed income solutions including sales, trading, and research capabilities to corporate, commercial real estate, government, and institutional clients across the globe.
In this role, you will:
Our central-aligned CIB COO team plays a critical role in the implementation of Corporate and Investment Banking corporate strategy, coverage strategy, and the planning and execution of special projects and initiatives.
The Business Execution Consultant position will support the central COO team in executing business priorities, partnering with the broader Wells Fargo organization, and running the day-to-day operations of the business. This particular role will execute on activities including but not limited to:
- Supporting COO and Group Head Executives in pipeline analysis, initiative tracking, project execution, and banker scorecards
- Research and analyze client information and data across multiple tools and platforms, including but not limited to: Client profitability systems, Loan tracking systems, Company hierarchy management platform, and Salesforce.com
- Assist in running vertical or product wide planning sessions and reoccurring pipeline meetings including preparation of presentations materials
- Analyze performance by Sector and Banker via data analysis from internal CRM salesforce.com and 3rd party data providers like Dealogic for fee competitor benchmarking
- Monitor data accuracy and integrity within CRM pipelines and internal company hierarchy management platforms
- Balance workload with peers, in the US and internationally, to delivery timely work product in the fast-paced environment of corporate and Investment Banking.
- Key skill sets needed: project management, data analysis, problem-solving skills, financial business acumen, ability to integrate data/financial analysis into streamlined presentations, and knowledge or ability to learn key systems including Salesforce & other internal financial reporting tools
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- 2+ years of financial or analytics experience; or a master's degree or higher in fields such as business, finance, or economics
- Knowledge and understanding of Corporate & Investment Banking
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required
- Ability to manipulate data sets (BI Tools, Pivot Tables, Macros)
- Experience working in Investment Banking
- Experience in financial analysis including company assessment (leverage, working capital, etc.), global market awareness (currency, commodities, trade, etc.), and internal client/LOB financial performance
- Experience with customer relationship management systems CRMs (ie Salesforce.com)
- Experience in problem analysis, solution implementation, and change management
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge and understanding of strategic planning and execution
- Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
- Ability to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and management
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels - flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
Pay Range
$73,100.00 - $155,900.00Benefits
