Responsibilities
What You Can Expect:

• Wordsmith Prodigy: Research, write, and edit communications materials across diverse channels and audiences.
• Event Enthusiast: Support employee meetings and events, ensuring seamless communication.
• Calendar Creator: Develop editorial calendars for traditional and social media, ensuring consistent and strategic messaging.
• News Navigator: Assist in news release distribution and track company news coverage.
• Opportunity Orchestrator: Identify speaking and media opportunities to elevate Navistar's presence.
• Analytics Alchemist: Create analytics and impact reports across communications platforms, measuring success.
• Team Collaborator: Provide general support to the Communications team, contributing to our collective success.

Minimum Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree

Additional Requirements

• Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B or F-1 status)

Desired Skills

• At least Sophomore standing for undergrad at the time of application
• Able to work at least 12 weeks (starting the end of May or early June through August)
• Previous applicable internships
• Self-starter
• High level of computer skills (Microsoft Applications and Internet)
• Communication Skills: Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills.
