Job Title:Corporate AV Production Company General Manager
Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Audio Visual professional to assume the role of Regional Manager in the Caribbean Islands. This dynamic position involves overseeing the daily operations of the business and high-end corporate events in 5-star hotel resorts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both audio-visual installations and event management, with expertise in audio, video, and lighting set-up, and operation as well as front-of-house mixing.

Responsibilities:
Audio Visual Installation Management:
- Lead a team of installation technicians for audio-visual projects, ensuring high-quality installations on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with clients, designers, and stakeholders to understand audio-visual requirements for installations.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource requirements, and budget estimates for installations.
- Supervise and participate in the installation, testing, and commissioning of audio-visual systems.
- Conduct post-installation inspections to guarantee optimal performance and client satisfaction.
- Manage project budgets, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
Audio Visual Live Event Production Management:
- Provide Audio/Video (A/V) support for corporate events, including set-up, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of A/V equipment.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with A/V and technology components during events.
- Consult with 3rd party A/V support as needed and coordinate with external vendors.
- Manage day-to-day operations of frontline suppor staff for events.
- Attend and manage high-level meetings requiring A/V expertise.
- Proactively maintain A/V equipment and ensure supplies are available for events.
- Provide formal and informal training to users and stage hands.
- Take direct, appropriate, and timely action to meet client needs and resolve issues during events.
- Participate in the development of event plans and supervise, develop, and evaluate assigned staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience in FOH Engineering, Lighting, Video, Audio Visual Installation Management, or Audio Visual IT.
- Previous A/V experience with increased responsibility or team lead experience required.
- Willingness to relocate to the Caribbean Islands.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas in a user-friendly language to non-technical staff and clients.
- Ability to solve technical, managerial, or operational problems and evaluate options based on relevant information and resources.
- Strong organizational and work prioritization skills with attention to detail.
- Supervisory experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership, versatility, and integrity.
