General Office Worker

We are a local established Moving Company. We need help with our small three person office. Our dress code is very casual as our customers do not come into our office. There is not a dog in the office but we love them - so you could bring yours to work with you if you so desired. :) This position does not offer health insurance.

A large part of the day is spent on the telephone giving estimates and scheduling moves. A friendly personality is required. We are looking for someone who is dependable and smart. We are looking for someone who is genuinely a good person and who has a consistent positive attitude.

The job offers somewhat flexible hours. Your stop time is 5:30 but we are a little flexible with your start time. Start at 9:30? 10:00? 11:00? Some Saturdays are required from 9AM - 1PM. On the weeks you work Saturday, you can reduce your Mon - Fri hours or work extra hours that week. Overtime is time and a half.

This election year we may use some of our office space to help PREVENT President Biden from being reelected. We aren’t sure what this may entail. It could involve making calls, mailing flyers, etc. This would not be part of the daily responsibilities but we just want to make sure this would not be upsetting to you. Therefore, we thought we would mention it. :)

We are looking for the following:

An ability to “rush” all day long on the busy days.

Ability to entertain yourself on the slow days. :)

Excellent organizational skills

Attention to detail

Proven dependability and punctuality

Ability to type (using all 10 fingers) :)

Decent computer skills

Consistent positive attitude

Mental toughness -- If one rude customer has the ability to ruin your day, this is probably not the job for you.

$18-$20 Per Hour

No experience necessary. We can train the right individual as long as you are smart, friendly, can type, and are pretty good on computers.
