Corporate Accounting Manager

The Accounting Manager will handle the overall management and supervision of the accounting

department as well as supporting various aspects of accounting and finance, see essential duties and

responsibilities listed below.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Manage the accounting staff who are responsible for financial reporting, accounts payable,

billing, and general ledger.

• Recruit and hire accounting and financial staff and conduct performance evaluations.
• Coordinates training programs for new staff and identifies training needs for current staff.

Month-end Close:

• Review Staff prepared account reconciliations.
• Review and post staff prepared journal entries.
• Prepare weekly check run file in accordance with weekly cash forecast.
• Prepare and review financial statements for accuracy and GAAP compliance.
• Inspect account books for efficiency, accuracy, and controls.
• Organize and update financial records.
• Present recommendations to management on short- and long-term financial objectives and

policies.

• Coordinate with external auditors to complete annual audits.
• Perform other duties as necessary or assigned.
